After four months of treatments and thousands of prayers, Michael Bubl released a statement mid-March that their three-year-old son, Noah, is believed to be recovering from liver cancer.
Bubls brother-in-law, actor Dario Lopilato, reported that Noah was on theup-swing and that his wonderful health improvement was a miracle from God.
However, Noah still had a ways to go before he was 100percent in the cancer clear.
The singer first broke the news about his toddlers diagnosis back in November, and the family immediately dropped everything to get him kicking cancers butt.
We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son, Noah, Buble wrote on Facebook upon receiving the news. We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children.Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well.At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy. We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.
The whole family took Noahs diagnosis very hard, and People Magazineconfirmed that Bubl would not be singing again until his son is well.
Well,in a press conference on April 10, Bubls wife, Luisana Lopilato, confirmed the glowing news that everyone had been waiting to hearand it has finally given them a reason to SING. Luisana spoke to her native country of Argentina with gushing pride and gratitude about her brave sons full recovery:
Thank God, my son is well. When things like those that happened to us occur, your take on life changes. It happened to us. Now I value life much more, the now and the today. I would like to thank people for their support, for the prayers they said, for their love, and I want them to know that they reached us and that it helped us a lot to come through this.
Noahs clean bill of health has been the Godsend the Bubls have been waiting to hear for six months now.
But while they are eternally grateful for the cancer-freeconfirmation from doctors and the answer to prayer, they are still sober-minded about the challengestheir little man may have to come.
My sons recovery is a long process, as you all know, and he has to continue with check-ups, said Lopilato. But we are very happy. We are looking forward to thinking about the future, to seeing our children grow.
She added that they were still sensitive about it, as thenews from Noahs doctors was received very recently, but they are finding great comfort from the thoughts and prayers of their adoring fans.
The love is daily, when people stop me in the street, she said. Its wonderful to know that youre accompanied in life and that people love you.
Lopilato continued that it was her faith in God as her comforter and miracle worker that got her through the heart-wrenching time:
My faith in the fact God had a miracle helped me. I became strong so my son would get better. I transmitted that to all my friends and family. As a family we were always very united and we fought this together. We did everything we could for our son, so he would come through this.
